Manage your app directories

Add custom folders to scan for applications.

Grant access to user applications folder

  1. Open Launchie and click the Settings button.
  2. Click the App Directories tab.
  3. Click the Grant Access button.

  1. A new window will open in your user applications folder.
  2. Click the Choose button to grant access.

Reset to user applications folder

If you choose the wrong folder in the past, or if you don’t see apps you recently added, you might need to reset the user applications folder.

  1. Open Launchie and click the Settings button.
  2. Click the Danger Zone tab.
  3. Click the Reset Permission button.
  4. Confirm the action.

After resetting you can grant access to the user applications folder again.

  1. Open Launchie and click the Settings button.
  2. Click the App Directories tab.
  3. Click the Add Directory button.
  4. Select the folder you want to add.
  5. Click the Choose button.
