The latest Launchie update brings improved stability, full screen mode, visual style options, and enhanced search functionality with better app organization.
We’re excited to announce the release of Launchie 1.0.4, packed with significant improvements and new features that make your app launching experience even better!
This release focuses heavily on stability improvements, ensuring Launchie runs smoothly across all your workflows. We’ve fixed numerous bugs and optimized performance to give you a more reliable experience.
You can now enjoy Launchie in full screen mode! Access this new option in Settings to immerse yourself completely in your app organization workflow.
Customize Launchie’s appearance with new style options:
Both styles are available in the Settings panel, letting you choose the look that best fits your aesthetic preferences.
We’ve changed the default keyboard shortcut to CMD + K
for faster, more intuitive access. The shortcut is now prominently displayed in the launcher interface, so you’ll never forget it.
Search has been significantly improved with better algorithms and faster results. Finding your apps is now more responsive and accurate than ever.
Fixed a critical bug where system apps and user-scoped applications weren’t being displayed properly. Now all your apps are visible and accessible through Launchie.
Resolved resize problems that occurred when switching between different screens or display configurations. Launchie now adapts seamlessly to your multi-monitor setup.
Folders now show up to 9 apps in their preview, giving you a better overview of what’s inside before opening them.
The menu bar has been refined for better usability and cleaner appearance.
One of the most exciting improvements is the new reordering logic. Instead of simply swapping apps when dragging, Launchie now pushes apps into position - just like the original Launchpad! This makes organizing your apps feel more natural and intuitive.
